Naked Nail, ну да, все эти топы - это так, потехи ради)

Я тоже люблю всегда слушать именно альбомами, но иногда и рандомайзер включаем)
Сет Naked Nail мне понравился больше всех, т.к. почти ничего из этого я бы не стал менять, если бы пришлось ограничиваться 20-ю треками)

С интересом перечитал всю тему, но долго не решался накидывать свой ТОР-20, т.к. не люблю и не умею делать сборники под себя и тоже предпочитаю слушать музыку только альбомами. При этом мне очень нравятся официальные компиляции которые можно воспринимать как самостоятельные произведения например билты "Hey Jude", Kiss "Smashes, Trashes and Hits", Running Wild "The First Years of Piracy", Sinner "Touch of Sin-2". В таких работах есть идея, а иногда и творческая составляющая не меньше, чем на номерных альбомах.
Короче решил не париться и попробовать сделать список песен на подсознательном уровне. В спокойной обстановке неожиданно подумать о Running Wild и в хронологическом порядке перечислить на диктофон телефона названия песен, а потом посчитать и проанализировать.

Вчера перед сном так и сделал, а сегодня проанализировал. Сразу обратил внимание на несколько любопытных моментов отсечка в 20шт. была достигнута ровно на материале с "Masquerade", это во-первых. Во-вторых все что вышло после 1995 года как-то само уместилось в отдельный ТОР -10. В-третьих при при перичислении и последующем прослушивании списка не было такого, что вот "а блин, вот это забыл, а тут надо поменять" все вышло очень органично. По факту получается что это некий перечень важных вех в моем восприятии творчества Running Wild, срез эпох что-ли.

От себя: я отношусь к явно выраженному меньшинству. Мне эпики RW практически все совершенно не интересны, для меня все 20 эпиков Рольфа стоят меньше чем один на альбоме Tyrant 86-го года.
Да и вообще я не сильно среднетемповые песни у него люблю.

Ну и зря.

Ведь по статистике проголосовавших можно кое-какие сделать выводы. Например оценить популярность альбомов RW у постояльцев таверны.

Black Hand Inn (1994) с огромным отрывом лидирует, и можно уверенно сказать что этот альбом наиболее высоко оценен постояльцами.

Меня кстати весьма удивило что относительно невысоко оценили альбом Blazon Stone (1991). Мне казалось что объективно - это самый сильный альбом в творчестве группы.
Но вот у постояльцев другое мнение. Он не только уступил Black Hand Inn, но и некоторым другим альбомам - Port Royal (1988), Death or Glory (1989), Pile of Skulls (1992).

Зато мнение постояльцев таверны о самых слабых альбомах вполне ожидавшееся - The Brotherhood (2002) и Shadowmaker (2012).
Я оба альбома уже плохо помню, поскольку лет 5 их уже не слушал. Но они действительно очень слабые.
Ничего странного что в топ-20 у народа с этих альбомов всего по одной песне попало. И то лишь у немногих.

Ну и лично меня весьма порадовало что есть песни со всего творчества группы. Со всех альбомов.
От самых ранних Chains & Leather и Walpurgis Night - из времен когда у группы и особо своего лица не было, до последних творений с альбома этого года.

так оно и есть, когда я свой топ составлял пришлось минутт 15 думать какие песни в топ 20 добавить, было бы можно я бы все альбомы добавил, а 20 песен очень тяжело было выбрать

Каждому свое. Был у нас еще лет 15-17 назад такой участник как Tyrant (на сколько я помню). Так вот у него тоже 91-й был самым любимым альбомом.
